EAP - not exactly the boy next door

I'm in the process of discovering Lou Reed (which by default includes the Velvet Underground).

My musical pallet has been stretched lately. It's a good thing. There is a small area just outside of the comfort zone that, when pressed, creates growth. Musical, intellectual, physical, etc.

I was undecided about this pioneer. His voice bothers me. You would think that someone so musically inclined would be able to carry a tune.

Half asleep, contacts dry as sandpaper, freezing like it was February, close to you, comfortable as I ever have been and ever will be. Lou Reed was there, too.

TIFF's Lou Reed's Berlin was the start.

It was very physical it held you to the stage doin' the things that he wants to.

He can sing. He just chooses to talk most of the time. He appreciates music. His crooked smile has convinced me.

At the end of the day, that is all I try to do, too.

The real game's not over here
